Bonnetje is the name of the Danish fashion label represented by Yoko Maja Rahbek and Anna Myntekaer. The two designers have built a reputation for their tailoring method, repurposing ‘unemployed’ men’s suits into silhouettes for an alluring women’s collection.
The designers’ primary work material – the men’s suit – was expanded for the AW25 collection with a range of materials native to the stale bureau environment. With this palette, Bonnetje explored the dual nature of office life, designing a collection of subversive elegance that reflects on our corporate nine-to-five culture.
AirSolutions created a bespoke scentscape for the show, which took place in an abandoned 1960s office building on the outskirts of Copenhagen. The diffused scent of lipstick and ink paid homage to the bittersweet lives once lived on these floors. The olfactory atmosphere was composed of the traditional floral triptych found in makeup – orris, rose, and violet – with notes of dry hiba wood and metallic nuances.
In addition to the ambient scent, guests received a scented, kiss-marked tissue, wrapped in a document envelope – serving as a fragrant forget-me-not.
